摘要:
随着全球老龄化趋势的加剧,越来越多的城市建设者开始重视蓝色空间暴露与老年人身心健康之间的潜在关联,但其具体健康效应仍缺乏系统性测定。本文通过关键词和标志性文献的筛选,获得201篇相关研究文献,并在此基础上对报告了完整效应量的29篇文献进行量化荟萃分析。结果显示:(1)总体上,蓝色空间暴露与老年人的健康存在显著相关性。相较于生理健康,蓝色空间暴露能更显著地促进老年人的心理健康,且不同研究设计类型、蓝色空间类型、地理尺度、性别和年龄的研究结果具有较大差异;(2)增加访问蓝色空间的时长和频率能降低老年人的心理压力,提高其幸福感;(3)与水体直接接触能促进压力恢复;(4)居住地邻近蓝色空间及可达性良好与老年人的生活自理能力、身体活动机能和幸福感密切相关;(5)蓝色空间的数量对老年人慢性疾病影响微弱且与生活自理能力无显著关联。本研究表明,未来应重视蓝色空间与老年人心理健康关系的研究,特别是在提高幸福感和压力恢复方面;同时,考虑潜在的混杂因素以获得更可靠的研究结果,为科学规划蓝色空间、促进老年人群健康提供指导。

Abstract:
Community green spaces play a crucial role in providing leisure services by offering accessible areas for recreation, relaxation, and social activities. However, little is known regarding their impact on leisure service benefits perception (LSBP) in peri-urban areas over space and time. Taking Huadu District of Guangzhou in China as a case study area, this research assesses community green space quality, estimating LSBP with human-centric green space images and deep learning. Desktop mapping is employed to explore the spatial distribution of perceived leisure benefits, and geographically weighted regression (GWR) is adopted to examine the associations between the visual environment and LSBP. The results indicate that generally more leisure benefits (i.e., physiological, psychological, social, and cognitive benefits) of community green spaces are perceived during the day than at night. Some community parks and blue spaces demonstrate significant transitions from high LSBP during the daytime to low LSBP at night. Further, the five environmental visual elements, including green views, sky visibility, landscape diversity, walkability, and visual crowdedness, show varying associations with LSBP across both space (e.g., in high-quality residential areas and along community main roads) and time (e.g., during the day and at night). The findings provide empirical evidence for improving the planning of all-day leisure services in peri-urban community green spaces so that residents’ well-being and life satisfaction can be enhanced.

摘要:
The landscape of residential is closely related to the physical and mental health of the elderly. With the increasingly aging society, how to build a healthy living environment for the elderly is one of the important issues that need to be studied. Using scientific metrology tools such as CiteSpace to conduct knowledge map analysis on relevant literature, the research trends of the relationship between residential landscape and the health of the elderly were systematically summarized. The results showed as follows: 1) The number of domestic and foreign studies has been increased significant during the past 10 years. The research areas are mainly distributed in the fields of public health and geriatrics in foreign countries, while the domestic is mainly in the fields of architecture science and sports;2)Residential landscape factors and their mechanisms that affect the health of the elderly have been the research hot spot in both domestic and abroad. In terms of landscape elements of residential, most of studies focused on green space, water body and sensory environment, while in mechanism focused on physical activity, autonomous needs and social cohesion.3) The existing research mainly uses the subjective and objective measurement methods such as questionnaire, health benefit scale, objective measured environment and physiological indicators measurement. The trend is gradually shifting from the qualitative approach to the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The current study would provide evidence for future research and practice of age-health residential landscape.

城市街道与老年人的日常活动密切相关,探讨街道环境适老性水平的空间分布特征及其关键影响因素,对老年友好型城市公共空间建设有重要指导作用。然而,既有研究难以贴近真实的人本视角、快速、大规模且精准地评估街道适老性水平的地理空间效应。因此,本研究从人行视角采集街景图像,结合语义分割和目标检测技术提取环境要素,利用人机对抗众包评价与残差神经网络50(ResNet50)技术测度街道环境适老性水平,采用莫兰指数(Moran’s I)、普通最小二乘回归模型(OLS)、空间滞后模型(SLM)和空间误差模型(SEM)综合分析街道适老性水平的地理空间异质性及其影响因素;最后,选取了老龄化程度明显、街道环境多样的广州天河核心区为例进行实证研究。研究发现:(1)本研究结合了人视街景图像、机器学习和空间统计学方法,能够快速、有效地开展街道适老性水平评价,揭示其空间效应特征和关键影响因素;(2)街道适老性水平指标在研究区存在中等偏高程度的空间聚集性,商业型街道和靠近住宅区的街道、滨水街道差异大。水平较高的是商业型街道和靠近低密度住宅区的街道,较低的是靠近高密度住宅区的街道。老年人在滨水街道的活动性和安全感高,但愉悦感低;对靠近住宅区街道的归属感低;(3)不同街道环境要素对适老性水平的影响存在差异。绿视率、开敞度和围合度对街道适老性水平的影响较强,拥挤度、人行道占比与场景多样性几乎无影响。研究有助于为精细化、具身性的城市街道适老化空间研究与实践提供参考和理论依据。

【目的】随着现代生活方式的转变,城市居民对夜跑活动的需求日益增加。已有跑步环境研究较多关注日间情景,城市街道夜间环境对跑者的影响还有待进一步探究。
【方法】以广州越秀核心区为研究区域,利用计算机视觉和人机对抗评分平台评估不同类型街道对夜跑的安全感、恢复力、舒适度、吸引力及环境质量等方面视觉感知的影响,并运用空间自相关方法和地理加权回归模型研究各类街道环境要素与夜跑环境视觉感知之间的关系。
【结果】研究发现,滨水街道和商业街可提升夜跑者的舒适度和恢复力,历史文化街道可增强夜跑的安全感和吸引力,而餐饮街和商住混合区街道较难激发正面跑步体验。不同街道环境要素对夜跑环境视觉感知的影响存在差异。
【结论】考虑夜跑环境视觉感知评价对优化城市夜间跑步环境具有指导意义,未来可以通过区分街道类型,采取有针对性的规划设计措施来提升不同街道的夜跑体验质量。

【目的】探究风景园林理论知识形成的复杂脉络,能够为学科理论知识体系的构建提供新的视野。
【方法】借鉴知识考古学方法,从人文与艺术学科、自然科学、社会科学三大学科领域梳理风景园林理论知识体系的发展历程,归纳演变特点及驱动因素。
【结果】1)风景园林理论知识体系发展经历了从早期以人文与艺术学科知识驱动为主,逐渐走向与自然科学、社会科学的多元交叉过程。2)不同学科视野下的风景园林理论知识发展各有特点,本质上是美学观、自然观、公平观发生了改变:人文与艺术学科视野下的学科理论知识生产由地域性审美观走向批判地域性审美观;自然科学视野下的学科理论知识生产由朴素自然观走向多元生态观;社会科学视野下的学科理论知识生产由精英式公平观走向公众公平观。3)风景园林理论知识体系发展的驱动因素是由满足使用者的审美需求转向满足人在空间中生理、心理及社会全方位的功能需求。
【结论】风景园林理论知识体系未来发展还需要树立自主理论知识体系的意识、梳理其逻辑基点并建立弹性和动态调整的更新机制。

摘要:
学术研究离不开学者群体驱动,探究风景园林学术研究合作网络有助于了解学科研究活动的发展过程。以中国知网2011年至2023年风景园林主流期刊发表的合著论文为数据来源,借助Gephi软件构建风景园林领域学术研究合作网络,运用社会网络分析方法中的整体网络密度、节点中心性等相关指标,探究学科学术研究合作网络的特征和模式。结果发现:风景园林整体学术研究合作网络呈现明显的“核心-边缘”特征,学术研究合作网络模式可分为知识共享型、核心学者为中心型及复合型;学术研究合作网络多数基于师承关系、同事关系形成联系纽带,以同一学术机构、期刊作为交流与共享平台进行知识分享与产出。

在大数据时代背景下,利用网络平台可以准确把握公众对不同地域海岸带景观的偏好和风貌认知,更好地为滨海城市形象提升和空间规划等方面提供参考与支持。以中国12个沿海城市为研究对象,利用Python对百度、必应、图虫网、新浪微博和携程网5大网络平台的海岸带景观图像进行爬取,借助ADE20K数据集预训练的FCN模型对图像进行语义分割,通过对150种景观要素分割结果进行聚类与量化分析,探寻公众感知视角下中国海岸带景观感知意象类型、空间分异及视觉特征。结果表明:(1)中国沿海城市的自然景观意象类型感知高于城市空间、生活游憩和文化风貌景观意象类型;(2)各城市海岸带景观意象感知的空间分异现象显著,南海与黄海海域城市的海岸带景观感知意象独特性较高,渤海与东海较低;多样性总体呈现中部滨海城市高,南北两端滨海城市低的特点;(3)中国海岸带城市视觉特征为整体蓝视率适中,绿视率、空间围合度和设施配备度偏低。研究有助于不同海域景观特色的保护和各地海岸带景观多样性的挖掘,为基于大数据图片探索大众感知层面的滨海城市风貌和海岸带景观偏好研究提供了思路与参考。

Accumulative evidence and knowledge have revealed a close relationship between environments and human emotions. Residential open space (ROS) plays a significant role in shaping the older adults’ health and well-being. However, there is a lack of evidence for the association between various types of ROSs and the older adults’ emotions. The purpose of this study is to examine and compare the effects of ROSs of different qualities on the older adults’ physiological and psychological responses relevant to emotions. Three types of ROS (poor, medium, and high quality) were selected, and data from 69 older adults were collected through a real-world field experiment using multiple wearable sensors. Residential outdoor characteristics were quantified objectively through visual-perception indices and perceived restorativeness subjectively. The emotions were analyzed based on skin conductance level, heart-rate variability, electroencephalogram, and a psychological questionnaire. The results show that compared to exposure to the poor-quality ROS, exposure to the high-quality ROS led to a significantly lower increase in SCL and a higher improvement in vigor. Significant differences in β/α indices were found across the three types of ROS. In addition, the emotional effects of the visual-perception characteristics differed according to ROS type. Blue space and safety were negatively associated with the older adults’ emotional arousal in the high-quality ROS, while safety and walkability were negatively related to the older adults’ emotional arousal in the poor-quality ROS. The effects of greenery, visual crowdedness, and enclosure on the older adults’ emotions produced mixed findings among the different types of ROS. The findings of the research can offer guidance for urban planners to improve the design of ROS to provide more emotionally pleasing and age-friendly experiences.

The degradation of ecosystems poses a significant threat to human well-being, necessitating the urgent protection of ecosystem services (ES). The incorporation of social perceptions into the assessment of ES benefits is paramount in environmental management. However, scant attention has been directed towards investigating the relationship between urban streets and resident’s perception of ES benefits. Using the central urban area in Guangzhou as a case study, this research proposes a perceived ES benefits prediction method based on machine learning. The perception of ES benefits in Guangzhou was successfully predicted from street view images and perception data. “Food and material provision”, “aesthetic enjoyment”, “recreation”, and “ecological security” are the most readily perceived ES in urban streets. Spatial analysis further revealed the spatial dependence between the perceived ES benefits and street view characteristics. All perceptions of ES benefits exhibit uneven spatial aggregation patterns in the research area. “Greenness”, “openness” and “scene diversity” are key driving variables spatially related to ES benefits perception. The results of this study contribute valuable insights for practitioners in the field of ecosystem services and offer guidance to urban planners in making informed decisions for the development of sustainable urban ecosystems.

People’s risk perception varies across different environments. However, how different environments influence people’s COVID-19 risk perception (RP), especially street environments, has yet to be fully evaluated. This study explores how three different types of street environments influence people’s COVID-19 RP. First, we used pedestrian-centric street-view images and machine-learning models to predict the severity of COVID-19 RP in the study area. In addition, geographically weighted regression models were constructed to assess the locally most important environmental factors and their spatial heterogeneity. The results showed that openness was the most important influencing factor on COVID-19 RP in all three types of streets, while visual crowdedness was the least important one. Moreover, the high-value clusters of COVID-19 RP mostly occurred in poor- and medium-quality commercial streets, poor-quality residential streets, and leisure streets close to the plaza. Contrastingly, the low-value aggregations of COVID-19 RP mainly appeared in high-quality commercial streets, medium- and high-quality residential streets, and leisure streets close to blue space. We also found that the importance of environmental factors varied greatly by location. Interestingly, the RP was lower with higher visual crowdedness for all types of commercial streets. Based on this, the COVID-19 RP in different types of street environments was comprehensively evaluated so that city-relevant departments can take more effective measures to manage the public health risk based on geographical features.

以景观场地的认知取代抽象的构成训练正在成为景观设计基础课程教学的重要趋势。然而,如果缺乏易于切入的关注对象、易于理解的设计意义和针对设计学习的练习方法,场地认知练习可能难以实现基础课程的目标。基于理论分析和教学实践,本文试图深入探讨场地认知的设计意义、关注对象和练习方法。本文认为,由于景观设计源于对场地特质的感悟和调动,对景观场地的体验需要先于造型训练,成为设计学习的基础。以人为尺度的空间实现了要素、结构、过程与感受的连接,且更易感知、表达和设计,因而适合作为基础教学中场地认知的主要对象和切入点。本文介绍了5种景观场地的认知与表达方法,包括空间速写、剖面序列、谱记、草图模型和空间结构图析。这些方法为场地认知提供了可视化、可操作的载体,同时也包含了初步的设计思维训练,可为场地认知在景观设计基础教学中的实施提供参考。

为系统评估海平面上升叠加风暴潮风险对城市不同类型景观的影响,以珠三角沿海城市广州市为研究区域,基于该地区土地利用和社会经济等数据,构建“敏感性-适应性”脆弱性评估框架,针对近期(2030年)、中期(2050年)和远期(2100年)3个不同时期海平面上升叠加风暴潮风险情景下广州城市景观系统的脆弱性特征进行评估。结果显示:从淹没范围和经济损失来看,未来不同风险情景下受淹没面积最大的是农业景观、公园绿地与湿地景观,而经济损失最为严重的是工业景观和商业与公共服务景观。从整体脆弱性空间分布来看,近期景观脆弱性较高的区域主要集中在广州中部的荔湾区、白云区和黄浦区,到中期和远期阶段,广州中部的海珠区景观脆弱性风险逐渐加剧。从各类景观脆弱性空间分布来看,与交通景观、居住区景观等其他各类景观相比,近期农业景观脆弱性程度偏高的区域最多,主要集中在广州南部的番禺区和南沙区;到中期和远期阶段,各类景观的脆弱性风险都有不同程度的加剧,其中,公园绿地与湿地景观脆弱性程度变化较为显著。研究结果表明,未来可以根据不同景观系统的脆弱性程度和空间分布特征,通过提升防御性设施建设、实施适应性技术以及加强合理利用土地等应对策略来降低该地区的受灾风险。

【目的】全球气候变化加剧了沿海地区的受灾风险,探索海岸带韧性景观建设对保障沿海地区安全和可持续发展具有现实意义。
【方法】通过文献计量和案例分析等方法对2002—2022年国内外相关研究文献和实践案例进行梳理,分别对海岸带韧性景观的概念、研究趋势、理论及实践研究概况4个部分展开述评。
【结果】近20年来,国内外海岸带韧性景观理论研究和实践建设均呈增长趋势。其中,基于灾害适应性管理的海岸带风险管控、基于景观生态系统动态修复的海岸带韧性重塑、基于陆海统筹的海岸带景观资源开发与利用3个方面是当前理论研究的重点内容;实践热点则主要包括海岸带政策性韧性规划防灾、硬性及软性防御性基础设施建设和适应性漂浮工程技术措施应用3个方面。
【结论】可为未来海岸带韧性景观理论体系完善及规划建设推进方面提供一定启示和参考,但是未来还需在加强海岸带景观系统动态机制和过程研究、促进多学科团队合作、完善相关法规制定及适应性景观技术探索等方面进一步深化。

全球气候变化引发的海平面上升对沿海区域的环境和社会经济发展造成巨大破坏。以珠三角广州南沙为研究区域,基于传统、自然增长和规划控制3种土地利用格局预设发展情景,采用PLUS(Patch-generating Land Use Simulation Model)模型模拟各情景下的未来土地利用格局。同时,针对近期(2030年)、中期(2050年)和远期(2100年)3种不同海平面上升叠加风暴潮风险下的土地利用格局脆弱性开展多情景定量化评估,并提出应对策略。结果显示:1)3种土地利用格局发展情景中,传统格局情景能够最有效地应对或缓解海平面上升和风暴潮灾害风险,而自然增长情景应对未来海岸灾害的能力最弱;2)从不同土地利用类型的脆弱性程度来看,城镇建设用地的综合脆弱性最高,而村庄建设用地的综合脆弱性最低;3)根据不同发展情景及灾害风险应采用综合防御、适应及撤退等多种应对策略。综合考虑了未来土地利用格局的多种变化情景、灾害风险及应对策略,能够为滨海城市应对未来海岸灾害的适应性规划提供决策参考。

现代生活方式的转变使居民夜间户外活动不断丰富,建设高质量城市夜间户外环境已成为居民生活的重要需求。户外环境已被证实与人的情绪感知存在关联,但已有研究主要关注日间环境而较少聚焦夜间环境。基于计算机视觉技术,通过采集夜间户外环境的图像数据,结合公众的情绪感知评价,并利用空间自相关与空间回归分析方法探究情绪感知在夜间户外环境的空间分布特征及其影响因素。结果表明:1)夜间低维护的蓝绿空间能使人具有更强烈的恐惧感但焦虑感较弱,而高品质的绿色空间使人产生的恐惧感和焦虑感均较弱;高密度建筑区的户外环境往往令人感到不舒畅,低密度建筑区的户外环境则能使人感到较不恐惧、舒畅和放松;2)夜间户外环境要素如绿视率、天空可视率、拥挤度、围合度及视觉可步行性在不同类型户外环境中与情绪感知的相关性存在差异。本研究为如何快速、精准地测度夜间户外环境对情绪感知的影响提供了参考,有助于建设城市夜间户外环境,以提升居民生活质量和健康福祉。

【目的】计算机视觉技术的发展为基于图像的景观自动化判别与分析提供了新的认知视角,非常有必要系统性认识计算机视觉技术在景观与健康关系研究中的应用。
【方法】基于文献检索和筛选,系统梳理分析了中国知网数据库和Web of Science核心合集数据库中发表的20篇中文文献和90篇英文文献,并总结当前的研究趋势、主要应用方向及优劣势。
【结果】结果显示:1)语义分割和图像分类在景观与健康关系领域研究中的应用最为广泛;2)生理健康威胁、体力活动、心理健康效益和环境感知评估是目前主要的研究应用方向;3)已有研究存在算法局限、计算精度不足、数据获取时间滞后及缺乏动态性等问题。
【结论】计算机视觉技术的应用能促进快速、精准、大规模地进行景观与健康关系评价研究,但还需要在优化目标检测算法、融入设计和后评估过程、拓展景观与社会健康关系研究及构建时序数据集等方面进一步发展。

Urban green space is widely acknowledged to promote public health through multiple pathways. However, there is limited understanding of how the spatial patterns of green space might play different roles in such a process. This study examined potential pathways through which spatial patterns of green space improved people’s life satisfaction (LS) by reducing air pollution. A partial least squares structural equation model was adopted to explore these pathways in sampled urban areas (township) of China (n = 60). Green space spatial patterns were measured using landscape metrics of size, aggregation, fragmentation, and diversity. The results did not show that green space spatial pattern promoted LS by reducing air pollution. However, green space size and fragmentation were negatively associated with air pollution (mainly PM 2.5, PM 10, and NO 2). The pattern of highly densely distributed small green spaces was related to higher LS, as was high diversity of green space type. Simply adopting a fragmented green space pattern to reduce air pollution might be simultaneously associated with reduced LS. This alerts decision-makers and planners to the potential “double-edged sword” effect of optimizing green space structures to improve air quality, which may not yield strongly favorable results due to the impacts that hinder LS.

Cultural landscapes provide abundant and diverse ecosystem services (ES) for human-wellbeing. However, many traditional cultural landscapes worldwide are currently undergoing rapid urbanization. In decision-making concerning sustainable urbanization, tradeoffs frequently occur between different objectives (i.e., between multiple ES) and between different pathways or urbanization strategies (e.g., following modern zoning principles or traditional landscape structures). This study aims to examine the dynamics and interactions between multiple ES under different strategies for the urbanization of cultural landscapes. A case study was conducted in Nansha, China. Three scenarios—business-as-usual, zoning plan-based, and traditional landscape structure-based—were developed to reflect the most common urbanization strategies, each parameterized with identical land-use quantities. Land-use change from 2020 to 2035 under different scenarios was simulated using the PLUS model (integrated Random Forest and Cellular Automata models). The traditional landscape structure-based scenario used the settlement pattern before urbanization to predict the chances of future urban areas’ occurrence. Eleven ES indicators were used to examine ES dynamics and interactions in the simulation outcomes. The results showed that the amount of ES provided by the landscape declined and significant tradeoffs occurred between cultural and non-cultural ES. The business-as-usual scenario resulted in the greatest decrease in ES. The zoning plan-based scenario did not offer a significant improvement over the business-as-usual scenario. The traditional landscape structure-based scenario was the most effective in limiting ES decline, which also mitigated the tradeoff between urban development and flood regulation and fostered synergy between urban efficiency and ecotourism opportunity. Based on these findings, we recommend that traditional landscape structures should be emphasized in the development of cultural landscapes.

街道作为城市中最重要的公共活动空间之一,与人的情绪状态密切相关。文章以广州市海珠区为例,结合街景图像数据、机器学习以及众包评分的方法,探究了大规模街道环境对情绪状态的影响,并提出优化设计策略。结果表明:第一,不同的情绪状态在海珠区表现出中等偏高程度的空间聚集性。积极的情绪状态主要聚集于靠近高品质自然景观的街道,消极情绪状态显著聚集于高密度城区的街道。第二,植被、地形、天空和建筑是影响情绪状态的关键街景要素。第三,通过提高蓝绿空间可达性,提升绿化覆盖率等规划和设计策略,能够改善街道空间的情绪体验。总体而言,文章为如何快速、精准、大规模地评测城市街道环境对情绪状态的影响提供了参考,有助于建设促进公众心理健康的城市环境。

A total of 199,754 street view images of Guangzhou were captured from Tencent Street View, and street elements were extracted by pyramid scene parsing network. Data on six mood state indicators (motivated, happy, positive-social emotion, focused, relaxed, and depressed) were collected from 1590 participants via an online platform called Assessing the Effects of Street Views on Mood. A machine learning approach was proposed to predict the effects of street environment on mood in large urban areas in Guangzhou. A series of statistical analyses including stepwise regression, ridge regression, and lasso regression were conducted to assess the effects of street view elements on mood.

Emerging evidence suggests that residential open space (ROS) is beneficial for multiple health outcomes for urban residents. However, the general public’s understanding of and demand for the health benefits related to ROS have not been widely explored. This study aims to examine the impact of residents’ socioeconomic status and perceptions of landscape health benefits on their willingness to pay (WTP) for ROS and to evaluate the perceived monetary value of different residential landscape elements. An online survey with 1348 respondents was conducted between August 2020 and October 2021 in China using a contingent valuation (CV) method. Respondents perceived the landscape benefits related to mental health to be higher than those related to physical and social health. The perception of landscape health benefits positively affected WTP and the WTP value of ROS. Residents’ monthly income was a significant influencing factor for WTP and the latter’s value. For individuals with positive WTP, the average annual WTP for ROS was CNY 68.98 (USD 10.81), while for all the respondents, the estimated mean annual WTP for ROS was CNY 91.75 (USD 14.38). Moreover, the estimated WTP for plants was the highest, whereas the WTP for activity spaces was estimated as the lowest. These findings may improve city planners’ and community managers’ understanding of the perceived value of residential landscapes among the public and help them make effective decisions to build healthy communities.

Many cultural landscapes are undergoing inevitable urbanization. For these landscapes to attain sustainability, participatory planning processes are often required. However, different stakeholders may prefer different strategies and goals, making decision-making extremely difficult. This paper explores how three urbanization strategy options (based on lay stakeholders’ willingness, historical landscape pattern, and land-use planning) and their possible trade-offs can affect cultural landscapes’ sustainability. Specifically, it examines 1) how these strategies’ varying adoption levels affect different landscape functions, and 2) how their different trade-offs affect sustainability perceived by different stakeholders. We conducted a case study in the Nansha District of Guangzhou, China. Based on interviews with lay and expert stakeholders, we developed an agent-based model to experiment with a range of scenarios reflecting different trade-offs of the three strategies. With 11 indicators and their stakeholder-weighted aggregation assessed in every simulation step, we analyzed the strategies’ effects and compared five typical scenarios’ sustainability on two timescales. The results showed that the scenario prioritizing lay stakeholders’ willingness outperformed other scenarios in the sustainability assessment. Following historical patterns performed well in the ecological aspect and in the near term, but it may fall short in intensive urbanization from non-experts’ perspectives. Land-use planning was plausible as a static destination but ineffective during the entire process. The findings suggest that sustainable rural development should prioritize local adaptations; landscape pattern preservation and land-use planning must consider place-specific processes based on stakeholder participation. They also suggest the usability of agent-based modeling and time-series analysis in cultural landscape and sustainability research.

Mapping为当代复杂景观研究与实践提供了新机遇,然而其自由多样的形式与复杂晦涩的内容也在一定程度上造成了困惑与质疑。深入探究Mapping的作用、逻辑及其启发设计的机制将有助于厘清其价值,促进其理解与应用。通过文献综述与案例归纳、实践与教学研究,本文试图具体回答三个问题:Mapping如何在表达与探索之间取舍、以何种逻辑结构组织信息、以何种机制启发设计?
本文主要结论包括:
1)Mapping虽具有面向观者表达的功能,但主要作用是服务制图者自身的探索活动,即设计者在构建既有信息复杂关系的过程中,形成新的认识、创造新的可能。
2)虽然Mapping的形式、媒介与方法等千差万别,但它们组织信息的逻辑可大致归纳为五类,从简单到复杂依次为序列、矩阵、并行、网络与解构,它们在不同程度上反映了复杂景观自身的逻辑。
3)Mapping通过一定逻辑框架下的信息与想法的汇集和连接,自下而上生成对场地的认知与设计,为根植于场地自身结构与演化过程的设计提供了可视化的操作载体。Mapping在实践与教学中的推广有助于增进设计师对复杂景观结构与过程的认知,跳出标准流程和强加文化符号的窠臼。

居住区景观环境与老年人的身心健康之间存在密切联系。在老龄化趋势加剧的背景下,如何构建适老健康居住环境是当前需要研究的重要问题之一。采用CiteSpace等科学计量工具对相关文献进行网络结构分析,系统梳理居住区景观环境与老年人健康关系的研究趋势概况。结果表明:(1)国内外的研究数量近10年以来开始呈显著增长趋势,国外研究学科分布主要集中在公共健康与老年医学领域,国内则以建筑科学与体育领域为主;(2)影响老年人健康的居住区景观要素及其作用机制是目前国内外研究的重点,景观要素方面重点关注绿地、水体及感官环境,作用机制方面重点关注体力活动、自主需求及社会凝聚力;(3)已有研究主要采用问卷、健康量表、环境实测及生理指标测量等主观或客观测度方法,总体正逐渐呈现出由定性为主转向定性和定量结合方式转变。研究结果可为进一步开展适老健康居住区景观环境的研究和规划设计实践提供参考。

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has alienated people from urban green spaces (UGSs) that have various health outcomes for humans. However, little is known about the influential factors of perceived health benefits and use behaviors in UGSs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to explore the key factors that influence perceived health benefits and use behaviors in UGSs and to assess the mediating role of place attachment in relationships during the COVID-19 pandemic in Chinese megacities.
Methods: We conducted an online questionnaire survey from December 2020 to March 2021 in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China. Six multiple regression models were constructed to investigate the main factors by which UGSs influence citizens’ perceived health benefits and use behaviors. Four mediation models were established using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method to explore the mediating effect of place attachment.
Results: A total of 628 questionnaires were included in the analysis. The results revealed that some UGS components (green space access, maintenance, and soundscape) significantly affected perceived health benefits for citizens (physical, mental, and social health) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conversely, use behaviors (frequency of visits, duration of visits, and activity intensity) were mainly affected by the sociodemographic context but less affected by UGS components. In addition, UGS components were found to significantly predict place attachment, which in turn influenced the perceived health benefits, frequency, and duration of visits.
Conclusions: This study distinguished the key factors that affect perceived health benefits and use behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic: green space access, maintenance, soundscape, and sociodemographic characteristics. Place attachment still needs to be considered when discussing how to encourage citizens to visit UGSs during the pandemic. These findings provide implications for policymakers and landscape planners regarding design and management measures for UGSs that are conducive to coping with pandemics.

Being rich in form and obscure in content, mapping brings not only new opportunities, but also confusion and doubts to the research and practice of contemporary complex landscapes. Therefore, deep exploration of mapping’s function, logic, and mechanism in inspiring design is needed to help recognize the value of Mapping and promote its understanding and application. Through literature review, case studies, and the authors’ practice and teaching, this article attempts to answer three questions: Which function does Mapping emphasize, representation or exploration? What is the logic of mapping in arranging information? And what is the mechanism of mapping in inspiring design? The main conclusions of this article include: 1) Rather than viewer-oriented representation, mapping more often serves the cartographers themselves in their exploration activities, in which they develop new understandings and create new possibilities while constructing the complex relationship of existing information; 2) Despite the various forms, media, and methods, mapping’s logical structures in organizing information would converge into five types: sequence, matrix, parallel, network, and deconstruction reflecting to various degrees the logic of complex landscapes themselves; And 3) through collecting and connecting information and ideas with certain logical frameworks, mapping helps with bottom-up generation of cognition and design of the site, which provides a visual operation carrier that reflects the site’s structures and evolutionary processes. Applying mapping in teaching and practice can promote designers’ cognition on structures and processes of complex landscapes and get rid of the dogma of following standardized workflows or imposed cultural symbols.

如何通过居住环境设计提高老年人身心健康水平是当前日趋严峻的老龄化社会面临的紧迫问题。通过选择广州市3种不同品质等级的9个居住小区为研究区域,结合问卷和访谈调查老年人对居住环境的景观品质、空间形态及微气候环境等健康效益的认知特征和差异。结果显示,不同品质居住区中老年人对环境健康效益的认知具有差异,高品质小区和老旧小区中老年人对居住区环境要素的健康效益认知水平总体都表现为微气候环境>空间形态>景观品质,但在具体环境构成因素认知程度方面存在差异;普通小区中老年人对居住区环境要素的健康效益认知水平表现为微气候环境>景观品质>空间形态。

城市绿地积极作用于多维度的居民健康。文中依据中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)2016年城市居民健康数据与城市建设统计年鉴绿地数据,通过构建共14 a期回归模型,探究城市绿地对居民整体、生理及心理健康的影响与持续性。结果表明,城市绿地对3个层面的居民健康均有显著积极影响,且这种影响具有持续性,持续周期约为10 a。

已有研究表明自然景观有利于提高老年人的身心健康水平。为系统评价自然景观对老年人的身心健康效益,检索Web of Science等数据库中已有相关研究文献,对筛选出的13篇相关研究文献共计841例样本进行荟萃分析。结果显示:与自然景观接触,在生理指标方面能够显著改善老年人的身体机能活动水平;在心理指标方面能够显著改善老年人的情绪状态、注意力及主观感知恢复性体验;欣赏型接触自然景观方式相比活动型接触自然景观方式在心理健康效益方面发挥更大作用。可为环境对人体健康效益相关的评价研究提供方法学的指导。

海平面上升将造成低地淹没、风暴潮加剧、海岸侵蚀等一系列生态环境影响。珠江三角洲地区农业系统发达,洪涝灾害频繁;鉴于粤港澳大湾区建设的重要性及其所面临的海岸灾害的高风险性,针对该地区农业用地受海平面上升和风暴潮灾害影响的研究十分必要。本研究以广州市南沙区农业区域为对象,采用”源-途径-受体-影响”框架构建农业区域脆弱性评估模型,以暴露度、敏感性和适应性为基础构建评估指标体系,并基于ArcGIS平台定量化评估未来海平面上升和风暴潮对研究区域潜在的淹没风险、经济损失及其脆弱性空间分布特征。结果表明,在最低灾害风险预景和最高灾害风险预景下,南沙区农业区域淹没面积占比分别为73.38%和87.96%,经济损失分别为389 738.55万元和714 049.79万元;南沙中部地区的农业区域淹没风险较大,但北部和南部的农业区域脆弱性较高。研究进一步提出,未来可以通过防御、适应及迁移等一系列应对策略降低南沙农业区域的受灾风险和损失。

Promoting the use of green space is a fundamental way to improve physical and mental health and to enhance the quality of life of urban residents. In response to increasing demand for green space in cities, the impact of perception of green space for health promotion on willingness to use parks and actual use among young urban residents was investigated in this study. A total of 1135 young residents (ages 18–35) in three cities in China were surveyed by online questionnaire. A group of multiple regression models was constructed to investigate the influencing perception factors of participants’ willingness to use parks and actual use. The results revealed that the young residents’ perception of green space components for health promotion (green space access, types, sizes, plants, water, sensory features, microclimate environments and amenity facilities) had a greater effect on their willingness to use parks and to promote health, while it was less influential with respect to their actual park use behavior (frequency and duration). Among these variables, green space access is a critical concern for willingness to use toward parks. The disparities of perception of green space for health promotion effect on willingness to use a park and actual use provide a better understanding of the psychological factors affecting park use among young residents. The findings also provided some implications for public health policymakers, urban planners and landscape architects in designing parks to encourage visitation by young people.

Understanding the relationship between mood and the environment among the elderly is important for the healthy aging agenda. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between residential outdoor environments of different qualities and mood in the elderly. Nine residential neighborhoods across three different quality levels of the outdoor environment in Guangzhou, China, were surveyed. Measures included demographic characteristics, assessment of the residential outdoor environment, and mood status of the elderly. We constructed a group of multiple regression models to investigate influencing environmental factors of participants’ mood. Results revealed that the environmental factors influencing mood in the elderly are different across the three types of residential outdoor environments: function and cleanliness of the site showed a significant correlation with mood in high-quality residences, while pavement was significantly correlated with mood in medium-quality residences. In contrast, transparency, enclosure, greenness, temperature, and humidity were significantly correlated with mood in poor-quality residences. To promote mental health in the elderly, we recommend that different qualities of residential outdoor environments should be considered individually rather than aggregated as simply “outdoor space.” The findings of this study are expected to contribute to create age-friendly communities for an aging society.

Urban streets are important public spaces for daily activities that play a crucial role in promoting health in the elderly. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between perceived street walkability and mood in the elderly, and specifically, the mediating effect of environmental preference and place attachment. We surveyed a total of 269 elderly residents from six streets in Guangzhou, China. We collected assessments of the street environments, environmental preferences, place attachment, and mood status from the elderly. A serial multiple mediator model was constructed using the structural equation modeling method. The results showed that the perceived street walkability was sequentially associated first with an increased level of place attachment (β = 0.798, SE = 0.358, p < 0.000) and then environmental preference (β = 0.191, SE = 0.033, p = 0.038), which was in turn related to improvement of positive mood in the elderly (β = 0.595 SE = 0.341, p < 0.000). Environmental preference alone was found to be significantly associated with positive mood (β = 0.595, SE = 0.341, p < 0.000), while no significant effect of place attachment was found when considered individually (β = −0.075, SE = 0.089, p = 0.395). These findings provide a greater understanding of the possible mechanism through which street environment impacts mood in the elderly. Therefore, when promoting the emotional experience of the elderly, we might consider not only physical environment factors but also psychological conditions in street environments.
